On Sunday, May 25, 2008, a tornado with winds from 136 mph to 165 mph touched down in Hugo, MN.
We offer our condolences and prayers to all the victims of the Hugo tornado which struck on Sunday, May 25th. And, we feel extremely fortunate that it did not strike closer to the show grounds where our annual schooling show was taking place.
We want to thank all the show exhibitors for their quick exit from the area and are grateful that we have not heard of any horses being injured during the trailering home. A special thank you also to the many people who worked as volunteers, judges or staff at the show who worked so hard throughout the day and endured the dangerous drive home during the storm. And, thank you to Ann and John for the use again this year of their wonderful facility.
